Records reflecting the social, community, and artistic functions of St. Mark's Church. Included are records about the Ladies Benevolent Society, which was involved in social action and neighborhood charitable projects. Records consist principally of the Society's annual reports, minutes, correspondence, and committee reports, 1862-1900. Also, attendance lists for special services, 1927-1929; correspondence of rectors and other Church officials regarding various activities, especially the Annual Tulip Festival commemorating the Dutch beginnings of New York and associated Church history, 1948-1966.
